 3M SPLICING CLASS SIGN UP AUGUST 24TH

Training Location: 3719 S East Street Suite B, Indianapolis, IN 46227

Training Date: Monday, August 24, 2026

Class 1 is at 12:00 P.M., Limited to 20 participants. 

Class 2 is at 2:00 P.M., Limited to 20 participants. 

 Applicants signing up for the class need to be Journeyman Lineman and Subtechs only!

  WHAT TO EXPECT
-3M Medium Voltage Cold Shrink Splice Installer Training
-3M Cold Shrink, MV Cable/Prep, Splice Theory Discussion (30 minutes)
-Hands-on Cable Prep and Cold Shrink Splice Install (60 minutes depending on level of expertise)

 -Participants must bring their own URD Tools- Insulation stripper, Semi-con stripper, Knife, needle-nose pliers, measuring device, writing/marking device, vinyl electrical tape
-Required PPE: Safety glasses and gloves   

  • The Union does NOT provide meals during this session
  • The Union will NOT provide lost wages for this training session
